Ultimate minimalist design

The best leather sneakers that you will want to wear all day.
Design that pursues minimalism.
We use high quality cowhide produced in Japan for the uppers.
The linings and insoles are made from pigskin to enhance soft foot feel and absorbency.
These sneakers support comfortable wearing with a highly cushioned insole.
These sneakers combine different types of styling to create a feeling of luxury from the feet up.
They have been named in honour of the founder of our factory.
Minimal design
We want to create unchanging shoes that you will love forever in these changing times.
The response that we ended up with when thinking about this was to trim everything back and go with a minimal design.

Finely detailed shoes that make your feet look beautiful.
Many sneakers have sponge around the ankle which makes them bulky and this causes an issue with wearing them for work because they interfere with the line of slacks and so on.
In order to solve this problem, Giichi has no sponge around the ankle and we use invisible stitching with a special method.
This is called reverse stitching. It is a special method of invisible stitching which requires a high level of skills for designer high-heeled pumps.
With this method, the sneaker looks cleaner around the ankle and, as the stitching is hidden in the interior, the structure makes sure that your ankles don’t hurt.
The simple all-over detail of these sneakers shines through.

The most prominent feature of brightway shoes is the comfort that gently envelops your feet the moment you put them on.
One of the secrets of this is the material that we use in the heel.
All brightway shoes contain a real leather material called leather counter.
Many sneakers on the market at the moment use resin or plastic materials.
Sneakers with this leather counter incorporated are few and far between, even among luxury brands, and there are only a few factories in Japan that handle this material.

The reason for this is that the cost of this material is more than five times that of resin and it takes more than three times as long to manufacture.
We have always valued these time-consuming and laborious methods since our company was founded.
The good thing about this traditional method of manufacturing is that the more you wear the shoes, the more they mould to your feet and they do not slip off easily. We think about the people who are going to wear our shoes and pour our energy into the techniques we use to make them right down to the tiny details that you can’t see. This is our craftsmanship.
